Holy Spirit Night March Council

I am happy and elated to report that at this past March Council, there were eight candidates that received the Holy Spirit,  one soul refreshed, and three baptized. We thank God for his great move and power. We also thank God for Suff. Bishop Tony Thomas, Pastor Glenn Gatewood, Dist. Elder Rader Johnson, our own Diocesan Bishop Ira Combs Jr., and all the other NDC pastors who sent candidates to receive the Holy Spirit, and for encouraging their members to attend the workshop.

Re-Cap of Evangelism Workshop

Evangelist Sessley from Ohio conducted a workshop on Friday afternoon. She gave instruction on how altar workers should work with candidates seeking the Holy Spirit.  She stressed, as did past speakers, that the Holy Spirit is a gift for all to receive.  It doesn’t matter the nationality or even the denomination. A repented heart will make the difference.

Other Highlights

On Wednesday and Saturday evenings the NDCEOS team conducted outreach services in one of the local homeless shelters. One soul was baptized in Jesus Name Saturday night.
